Monthly Webinar Series 

JUNE

The USGBC Oklahoma Chapter is proud to announce that the second webinar
presentation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011.  This new monthly
series will provide LEED APs with specialty and Green Associates an
affordable means to earn their required Credentialing and Maintenance
credits in various categories. The webinar will be broadcast in two
locations, one in Tulsa and one in Oklahoma City (with future locations
added as the need arises).

The June webinar is the second of a four part series covering some of
the main categories of the LEED rating systems, including daylighting,
indoor air quality, water use and the costs and benefits of going green.
This first webinar series will conclude with an all day workshop in
September worth up to 6 LEED specific CMPs.  The rating system covered
will be determined based on demand of the Oklahoma Chapter members and
their needs.  This month's webinar is "LEED 254: The Cost and Benefits
of Green Building". A description of the course is below:

LEED 254: The Cost and Benefits of Green Building

Gain concrete understanding of the research that supports the costs and
benefits of green building.  USGBC's Research Team is proud to present a
suite of educational programs, designed to give you the understanding
you need to present the business case for green buildings, including
addressing questions about return on investment, project financing, cost
planning, and value beyond cost savings. Real estate owners, investors,
and other building professionals should utilize these educational
resources to gain a greater knowledge of shaping initial project
planning and financing.

The dates of future webinars, the name of the series covered each month,
and other necessary information is provided below. We look forward to
serving our members and appreciate your work in the community. Costs for
attending is FREE to all Oklahoma Chapter members and $10 per 1.5 hour
