Paper Recycling Grants Program

In partnership with the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA),
Keep America Beautiful (KAB) announces the availability of $500-$1,000
grants aimed at empowering KAB's Network of Affiliates, Partner State
Recycling Organizations, and Participating Organizations to engage in
paper recycling efforts during 2011 with specific audiences: 

*         K-12 Schools,

*          K-12 students in community organizations, and

*          Local Businesses

Successful grant applicants will introduce new paper recycling programs
or improve and expand existing paper recycling programs.  Grants will be
awarded to the best applications. Applicants are encouraged to present
creative and/or comprehensive concepts for paper recycling.  Including
an educational component for the target audience is important.  The
applicants will identify key elements of the proposed program and how
paper recycling will be sustained after grant funds are expended. KAB
encourages partnering with one or both of the other organizations
eligible for this grant.  Depending on the scope of work presented in
the application, a $500-$1,000 grant for each of the partners (KAB, BGCA
and IDA) submitting a unified paper recycling project proposal may be
granted.
